Yanni: Live at El Morro Puerto Rico [Blu-ray]

A beautiful and top-quality Live video
Yes,this is Yanni's brand new Live DVD with great music, great view of El Morro and some very interesting scenes.
Very relaxing and full of entertainment.
But what impressed me most is its clear picture.

Of course,it couldn't compare to Blu-ray disc.
But I could say the definition is the top level in DVDs.

I have never seen Yanni and all the members so clearly on Yanni's videos!

Review from NewAgeMusicWorld.com
International concert and artist Yanni and his orchestra demonstrate once again they are a leading team of the best musicians worldwide who are prepared to light up the night sky and take the world by storm. In the case of Yanni and the orchestra's recent live concert event at the historic El Morro fortress in Puerto Rico, the saying "take the world by storm" holds two meanings. The Oceanside concert venue of Castillo San Felipe del Morro citadel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, presented a challenge for the team by the inclement weather, typical for the historic El Morro coastal locality. It looked as if a miracle was the only hope for the final evening concert scheduled for Saturday night. As it turned out, a windswept atmosphere became a dramatic, silver lining for the ultimate Yanni concert experience.

Yanni-Live at El Morro, Puerto Rico turned out to be an intensely glorious concert event for fans of the international concert artist Yanni, and his sensational orchestra, who...

Awesome!
Yanni is one of the MOST talented musicians I have EVER had the pleasure of listening to OR have seen live!
This is a musical video treat with some of Yanni's earlier compositions and selection's from his 2011 Billboard New Age Album [and artist] of the year "Truth of Touch"! Every Yanni fan will be delighted to have this performance as part of their DVD library.
Yanni ALWAYS delivers his best to his fans ans is one of the most generous entertainers to his fans! His music has no boundaries; no language barriers, which is why he and his music is accepted around the world.
Also, if you would like to listen to the lryical side of Yanni's music, I strongly recommend Yanni Voices and Yanni Voces!

ravage 24/7
Transformers Prime Season 2 continues the greatness! This season is full of twist and turns in the plots along with the same quality storylines that makes this a must have for all transformer fans. The human characters of Raf,Miko, and Jack are more involved to help in the fight against the decepticons. The season starts out with the Orion Pax series in which Jack shoulders more responsibility when a trip to Cybertron is the key to saving Optimus.Megatron finds himself at war with not only the Autobots, but treachary in the decepticon ranks involving Starscream and Airachnid.Arcee still is the best looking she has ever been with the continuing rivalry against her nemesis Airachnid. Then there is the race for the cybertronian relics that could shift the balance of power to the Autobot or Decepticon side.Season 2 is a thrill ride from start to finish that is a refreshing reminder of how great the Transformers series is.There is also new characters introduced as well with the Insecticons and...

Transformers Prime Season II
Transformers Prime picks up where season one left off with Optimus Prime now among the ranks of the Decepticons?!?!?! Through out this season the Autobots and Decepticons are battling over hidden Cybertronian Iacon Relics (some are the Cybertronian equivalent of WMD's)that could turn the tide of the war, Mech shakes things up quite a bit,and ultimately takes them to an EPIC showdown on Cybertron. This season is just as great as the first season with new characters, and new twists and turns. And also a bit less Miko thank god. Voice talent is second to none with Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime,Frank Welker as Megatron,Tony Todd (Transformers Revenge of the Fallen) as Dreadwing, John Dimaggio (bender from futurama) as Vogul and many many more. This is a show that is fun for the whole family. A spectacular ride for the kids and a very welcome nostalgia for the adults. This is a must see chapter in the Transformers Prime Universe. If you haven't seen season one you absolutely must own it...

The best Transformers series EVER
Growing up with the original Transformers back in 1985, I was sceptical of the Transformers Prime show.

Once I watched Season 1, I was hooked. Season 2 is even better and it brings back so many memories of my childhood growing up with the magical voices of Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron).
My kids love the TP show as well, even though they haven't seen much of the original cartoon.

All in all, a great buy, and can't wait for Season 3!!!

Long live Transformers!!!

Autobots, Roll out!!!!

Glee: Very Glee Christmas

ReBUY
If you are a GLEE fan and own each season, why would you rebuy 1 episode already avaialble as part of a season? (If you don't own the seasons I could see the purchase.) But otherwise FOX is trying the "Disney Double Dip". Not very cool.

Glee: Very Glee Christmas
Now with Cory gone, how I wish Season II & III's Christmas will be compiled in this format. As you view it, both happy & sad memories of Cory & his gang flash past me! This video is now part of my prized collections of DVDs now.

glee
was very happy with this series, I will add it to my Christmas collection. I watch it over and over

Hans My Hedghog

jim henson the storyteller, one 40 min. episode.
I remember this series and wanted to share this with my grandchildren. The quality and size of the picture was not what I expected. The picture wasn't equale to the standards of other movies from the time period. I also felt the charge for only one episode was high. I can't afford to pay to view each 40 min. episde to find. my favorites. It would be nice if there were previews of each episode.

Luck: The Complete First Season

HBO's Horse Racing Drama Stalls Prematurely Due To Real Life Tragedy
HBO's prestige piece "Luck" was easily one of the year's most anticipated dramas. Its creator David Milch had been responsible for some groundbreaking shows including "NYPD Blue" and "Deadwood." Film legend Michael Mann (director of Heat among many other great pictures) was also a driving force behind the scenes. And with Dustin Hoffman (not to mention Nick Nolte) stepping into television to take a leading role, expectations were through the roof with this pedigree of talent. The real life story of "Luck," however, made more of a noise than the actual program. Though the show opened to generally favorable, but cautious, press--the viewership numbers didn't exactly ignite a ratings maelstrom. Juggling dozens of peripheral characters, "Luck" was best appreciated by an adult audience with patience and fortitude. Its methodical pacing was a challenge to some and as various plot threads wound around each other, the early episodes seemed to lack a dramatic imperative. HBO backed...

LUCK! CUT TOO SHORT FOR A REALLY GREAT SHOW
LUCK was a really great HBO show headed up and produced by Dustin Hoffman, with Dustin heading up a stellar cast including Dennis Farina. Although the cover proclaims this as the complete first season, it is in fact the complete series, because the series was cut short due to the tragic loss of 3 Horses during the filming of the 1st season. The animal rights folks went after HBO with a vengence, forcing them to shut down further production of the series,(something that to my knowledge has never happened to HBO before). There was nothing wrong with the story line and had the problem with horses not occured, they were well on their way to a 2nd season and possibly beyond that. Needless to say, although this is only one season, it is well worth buying and owning. Although it did not go beyond that, the way they ended the first season gives you at least a little closer and I think HBO owes that to Dustin Hoffman who went out of his way to make sure it closed out as best he could. 2012 San Francisco Giants: The Official World Series Film [Blu-ray]

Brings back a magical season of wonderful memories
I've been waiting for this since the end of the World Series. The package includes the World Series highlights film plus a number of regular season and post season extras -- including the complete NLCS game 7.

This a great opportunity to remember those nail-biting, record-setting and inspirational NLDS, NLCS & World Series games -- the Giants threw 4 shutouts, won 6 elimination games and ultimately took their last 7 in a row on the way to a 4 game World Series sweep of the Tigers.

The Giants post season had it all: timely hitting, great pitching, awesome defense -- and yes -- good breaks. Reliving the redemption of Barry Zito was moving -- he's gone through such tough times since signing with the Giants. Re-watching Ryan Vogelsong's post season dreams come true was wonderful. Remembering Tim Lincecum's brilliant post season relief appearances was fantastic. Marco Scutaro reaching out and enjoying the rain right before he catches the ball for the final out of...

OUTSTANDING
If a person doesnt care for a certain sports team, then writing a nasty review is just childish. One should realize that a World Series highlight video is for two kinds of people; the first obviously would be fans of the team that triumphed; the second viewer would be someone who appreciates the historical context and wants that for their archives.

The previous silly review should be ignored.

The game in the rain
The film itself is okay with a quick synopsis of the regular season and the bigger moments during the playoffs. Bought this mostly for NLCS Game 7 because it has the commentary from Kruk & Kuip and John Miller. It also has the STL track as well if you are interested.
