Hoping Gaiam releases more Sunrise Earth episodes...
First, I'm a huge fan of Sunrise Earth which used to air in the mornings on Discovery HD Theater before it became the Velocity channel. I own all the Sunrise Earth releases and often spend a weekend morning with a Sunrise Earth blu-ray and a cup of coffee. The aim of these programs is to provide an as-if-you-were-there-at-sunrise experience in super clear HD with only ambient sound. No music, no voice-over, just as close to a first-hand experience as possible. There is really no point in purchasing these programs in standard definition, they are meant to be seen in HD.
These four are great episodes but I hope they add more that are actually from Season 3. These same episodes are also available on Sunrise Earth: National Parks [Blu-ray]). I recommend these to anyone who doesn't already own them.
Also sending out a plea to Gaia to offer on blu-ray, or on Amazon Instant, some of the 27 Sunrise Earth...
I wanted to like it but Don't waste your money on instant video version
Picture quality is horrible....don't buy it. I have watched it on TV and loved it....but Instant video version is definitely dated in terms of quality. :(
