The Last Frontier, Part 1 [HD]

Another remarkable production.
What can I say? From the BBC team responsible for the magnificent Blue Planet and Planet Earth series, "Frozen Planet" is another towering, incredible cinematic documentary achievement. It's an absolute stunner. That I'm grading this 4 instead of 5 is simply a product of how excellent their prior work has been, and how crowded the field is here. While there were some of the same jaw-dropping never-before-seen moments found in Blue Planet and Planet Earth, it also felt like a larger share of the content here was covering more familiar ground. Granted, "Frozen Planet" did it better, but it's still frequently content that I've seen before.

Also seems like the editing here and there was a bit off. Early episodes would discuss locations and populations that would be introduced in later episodes as if they'd never been discussed before -- just felt like they might have had some difficulty allocating content to the episode lengths and subjects they were working with. But it's...

Yet another great documentary series
I loved every single minute of this great series. David Attenborough's magical voice guides you throughout. The scenes that you will see can be really be borrowed by all the fairy tales in the future. It's a shame that I bought this in standard definition. I cannot spend another 30 bucks to buy this in HD. Amazon why dont you give option for me to buy out the license in HD by paying the difference.

Good job team.

Awesome and spectacular!
Planet earth and frozen planet are very awesome in terms of footage and learning about our earth and planet. Would recommend the other series and terrains as well in learning.
