Tone

one of the all time best, a trio of power yoga
If you do yoga for buns of steel or seek "the perfect pose", Bryan Kest's yoga will drive you nuts. If you seek a practice that is dynamic, challenging, makes you sweat but also relaxes you without expecting handstands or Ashtanga perfectionism, you will enjoy his classes. Yes, the videos were made in the 90s and they have that vibe, and yes, he talks, a lot. I usually hate that but I love what he has to say, and I've been enjoying and using these video classes at home for over 15 years. Bryan is one of those teachers you either love or hate; his emphasis is on holding the postures for longer periods than a vinyasa flow class, it's really modified Ashtanga without the emphasis on perfect form or attachment to the series in the dictated order. He guides you through sun salutations A & B as a warm up, then flows through standing, twisting, forward bends, arches and a well deserved savasana. Each of the 3 classes builds in intensity, so most people would probably be content with...

challenging
Granted the instructor is wearing cutoffs and the intro is a bit long so you do have to skip it , but other than that I love these workouts. I find them quite challenging, especially all of the push ups but that is what I want from a workout video. It's great that the class is made up of people of all sizes and abilities. At the end of the session I always feel glad that I did the workout and with 3 different levels you can pick what u feel like that day, and it helps with the repetitious nature of workout videos.

Good Power Yoga Class - Just like in LA
Good class, challenging but good flow of the timing and intensity. It is structured the same as his classes in LA so if you don't live there or need to work out from home, this is perfect.
